There are 3 College Football picks for today's matchup!
#1: Syracuse +3 spread (buy the half point) against Liberty for 3% of the bankroll.
-This will be a huge step up in competition for Liberty.
-Syracuse has looked terrible so their stock is at an all-time low.
-Tommy DeVito going down with injury is actually an upgrade for the Orange.
Syracuse has had an abysmal season thus far and they will be in desperation mode in this matchup. Although they are 4-0 on the season, Liberty is still unproven. They have had a cupcake schedule thus far and are taking a big step up in competition. Liberty was favored in this matchup last season at home and were handled 24-0 against this Orange team. With Syracuse at home and this being a pivotal game for them, we expect that for one game they will put everything together and not only keep this game close, but will come away with the outright victory.
#2: Mississippi State +6 spread (buy the half point) against Texas A&M for 3% of the bankroll.
-Mississippi State is coming off an ugly performance against Kentucky. Expect a bounce back here.
-Texas A&M is coming off a huge win over their rivals Florida. Expect somewhat of a letdown in this spot.
-Mike Leach was extremely vocal in the media after his team's second straight loss. Expect him to have a game plan to get his air-raid offense back on track.
Texas A&M is coming off a huge upset win over Florida last week, the biggest since Jimbo Fisher's arrival at College Station. Now heading on the road against a Mississippi State team that is going to be desperate for a win, is a tough spot for the Aggies. Leach's air-raid offense was stifled for a second straight week, but the one thing we know about the air-raid, is that Leach will make adjustments to get his innovative offense on track. Florida was able to carve up the Aggies secondary last week on the road and we expect the Bulldogs to do the same at home in this one. Mississippi State challenges for the outright win in this contest.
#3: Mississippi -1 spread (buy the half point) against Arkansas for 3% of the bankroll.
-Arkansas has looked good recently, posting back-to-back conference wins. Their stock is high at the moment, but they are still Arkansas.
-Ole Miss has one of the most potent offenses in the country and are in desperate need for a win.
-Arkansas has been fortunate in creating turnovers, something we don't expect to continue.
Ole Miss just shredded Alabama and gave the Crimson Tide defense everything they could handle. They have been able to put up points on the toughest defenses in the country and should have no issues doing so in this matchup. The thing will Ole Miss is that they haven't been able to stop anybody on defense. That being said, Arkansas doesn't boast an offense that is built for shootouts. Ole Miss should have enough bullets in the chamber to outgun Arkansas in a shootout.
