There is one NBA pick tonight.
Utah Jazz -9.5 spread against Minnesota Timberwolves for 3% of the bankroll.
It’s not often that you see the Minnesota Timberwolves as near double-digit underdogs, given the amount of talent that they have on their roster, however, if there was ever a situation to warrant it, this would be the one.
The Timberwolves are hurting on the injury front and will be missing a number of their playmakers tonight. Both Jeff Teague and Derick Rose are questionable tonight with knee and ankle injuries (respectively). Both Tyus Jones and Robert Covington also still remain out, which leaves the Wolves lacking depth, which could be a problem against a very deep Utah Jazz squad.
We also expect fatigue to play a factor tonight. Not only is this game the second night of a back-to-back but is also the Wolves third game in 4 nights and 4th over the last 6 days. That is a rigorous schedule to keep, not to mention that this game will be played in the altitude of Salt Lake City. Meanwhile the Jazz will have the advantage of playing at home and will be well rested in this spot, having had yesterday off and will have tomorrow off as well. This will allow the Jazz players to go all out tonight, knowing that they will have another day of rest coming up.
Utah has been playing extremely well and this is a less than favorable spot for the Wolves. While there is a chance that they keep things close, Karl Anthony Towns can only do so much by himself and it won't be enough to keep the Jazz from creating separation in the second half and coming away with the double-digit victory.
