There is one MLB pick tonight.
Colorado Rockies (+200) on the ML against LA Dodgers risking 3% to win 6.00%.
(Anderson and Buehler must start for wager to have action)
The Colorado Rockies will be looking to avoid the sweep tonight at the hands of the NL West leading Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies will be playing with a sense of urgency tonight as there are only a handful of games left for them to make their way back into a Wildcard spot. Currently the Rockies are one game behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the second Wildcard spot and will need a victory tonight to keep their place in the running.
Walker Buehler has been phenomenal for the Dodgers this season and has allowed three or fewer hits in four of his last 6 outings, while holding opponents to a .201 batting average. He has struggled against Colorado however, going 0-1 with a 3.24 ERA in four career starts, most recently giving up 4 runs and 6 hits over 6 innings.
Tyler Anderson hasn't pitched as bad as his record would suggest, going 0-6 during a 12-game stretch dating back to the All-Star break. He has had some unfortunate breaks in the second half of the season, but has been serviceable against the Dodgers this season, coming away with a 3.74 ERA over 4 starts.
The oddsmakers have listed this total at just 7 runs, which means they are expecting somewhat of a pitcher's duel. Anderson has lasted longer in games than his counterpart this season and if the Dodgers go to their bullpen early, that could be the opening that Colorado needs to put some runs on the board. The Dodgers are playing well at the moment, but Colorado needs this game more. We expect they will find some offense in this one and avoid the sweep. The value is on the road team in this contest.
