There is one pick tonight.
Take Chicago White Sox (-124) on the ML against Kansas City Royals risking 3.74% to win 3%.
(Rodon and Skoglund must start for wager to have action)
The Chicago White Sox close their series with the Kansas City Royals tonight from Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City has had somewhat of a resurgence as they head to the end of the regular season, having won 6 straight series against their opponents, however we don't believe they will gain the sweep tonight.
Eric Skoglund will take the mound for the Royals in what will make his first start since May. After taking three straight losses starting, he hasn’t pitched for the major league team until last Friday against Minnesota in relief. We expect Skoglund to be a bit rusty in the early innings of this matchup and that could be what the White Sox need to get their offense going.
Carlos Rodon will take the mound for the Sox tonight and while he has been struggling on the mound lately, he has been Chicago's most consistent pitcher this season. Rodon has a very respectable 3.11 ERA on the season and has pitched well on the road for his team. After having back-to-back rough outings, we expect him to come back to form, especially facing an inconsistent Royals offense that are averaging just 3.2 runs per game over their last 5. Rodon should have the advantage on the mound in this one and that should be enough for the White Sox to end their losing streak and pick up a much-needed victory.
