There is a college football pick tonight.

Miami Ohio +7 spread against Buffalo for 3% of the bankroll.

Tuesday Night MAC contests always lead to some entertaining contests and that is what we believe we will have here again tonight as the Miami Ohio RedHawks travel to take on the Buffalo Bulls.

Buffalo has been an ultra-impressive team this season and has even garnered some national attention given their 7-1 overall record, but most notably, have captured the attention of the betting public due to their impressive 6-2 record against the spread. Meanwhile, the Miami Ohio RedHawks have a less than stellar 3-5 overall record which immediately skews the public perception of this team, which we will use to our advantage.

Looking deeper into the numbers, the RedHawks are not as bad a team as their record suggest. In fact, they have lost their last two games by just a single point a piece and could easily be a 5-3 team had they caught an extra break or two in the game. The biggest discrepancy in the perception of this team however, is most don't know that this team is undefeated in conference play this season. Just like Buffalo, they have yet to taste defeat in conference and with a win tonight, would give them the tie-breaker with the Bulls for the division lead. Couple that in with the fact that Miami has defeated the Bulls the last two seasons, gives them an excellent chance to not only be competitive tonight, but also potentially win this one outright.

These two teams are very similar by the numbers, with the Bulls likely having the slightest of advantages. Miami QB Gus Ragland has been spectacular, and ultra-conservative with the football. Miami is not a team that turns the ball over very much, which has been something the Bulls have thrived on this season. If the RedHawks can limit turnovers, they should have a great shot to stay competitive with Ragland under center. Buffalo appears to be garnering all of the attention in this matchup, and we believe that sets Miami up for a potential upset. If even they fail to win outright, we believe this matchup will be competitive which gives the points value.
