There is one MLB pick tonight.

Boston Red Sox (+147) on the ML against LA Dodgers risking 3% to win 4.41%.
(Porcello and Buehler must start for wager to have action)

The Boston Red Sox have taken a commanding 2-0 lead over the LA Dodgers and with the series now shifting back to LA, many are expecting the Dodgers to find their footing and claw their way back into the series with a victory tonight. While we agree that this is essentially a must-win game for the Dodgers, we are not sure that they have what they need at the plate in order to contend with the Red Sox.

Walker Buehler has been fantastic for LA in his rookie season, and that fact has often gotten lost with the youngster; he is still a rookie. This is a matchup that has huge implications. Not only will he be pitching in the most high-profile game of his young career, but all the pressure is currently on the Dodgers to win this game, otherwise this series could be all but over. That is a tremendous amount of pressure to put on Buehler's shoulders and it might just be too much for him to take at this point in his career.

Meanwhile, Rick Porcello is no stranger to pitching in high-profile matchups. While he hasn't been lights-out, he has been serviceable on the mound. The Red Sox lineup has been seeing the ball extremely well, which take quite a bit of pressure off their pitching staff, knowing that even if they make some mistakes on the mound, that they have the offense to bail the pitcher out. That alone is a big advantage mentally for a pitcher and should give Porcello an advantage.

We could be wrong with our prediction and the Dodgers could in fact win Game 3 tonight, however, given the way that the Red Sox have performed in this series, they are presenting a huge amount of value as underdogs and should are always a threat to win games, even when everyone expects them to lose. The value is with the Red Sox tonight.
