There is one MLB pick tonight.

LA Dodgers (+155) on the ML against Boston Red Sox risking 3% to win 4.65%.
(Kershaw and Sale must start for wager to have action)

Two of the best pitchers in baseball will square off in Game 1 of the World Series as Chris Sale pitches opposite Clayton Kershaw tonight. In a game that looks fairly even on paper, tonight's selection is all about value.

The Boston Red Sox may have had the better regular season of these two clubs, but everything changes in the playoffs. The Dodgers are no strangers to playing on this big stage as they are back in the WS for their second straight year and we believe that is going to be an advantage for them. The young players on that team know what it is like to play in this series and won't be distracted or allow the moment to get too big for them, where the same cannot be said for the Red Sox, especially in Game 1.

Chris Sale will be pitching in just his 4th postseason game ever and has been on the sidelines for the last 10 days! There is no question that he is a tremendous pitcher, but the pressure of the postseason is not something that he has been used to in his career. He could come into this contest just a bit nervous and if that is the case, the extended layoff likely won't do him any favors and could be the opening that the Dodgers need to take control of this game early.

Clayton Kershaw on the other hand is a veteran of the postseason (although he has had mixed results in his career). This season however, he has looked dominant as of late, pitching a gem in Game 5 of the ALCS, while also shutting the door on Milwaukee in Game 7. Kershaw has also never pitched against the Red Sox in his career, which we feel will be an added advantage to him tonight. He is one of the all-time greats on the mound and is a tough out for teams who are even used to seeing him. With a bulk of the Red Sox lineup not having any experience against the southpaw, it could be tough for them to mount any kind of offense tonight. While we do believe the Red Sox are the better overall team, the value cannot be ignored on Kershaw and the Dodgers tonight.
