There is one NBA pick tonight.
Oklahoma City Thunder +1 spread against Golden State Warriors for 3% of the bankroll.
It's not too often that we see the Golden State Warriors as a near pick'em inside Oracle Arena, but that is exactly what we have tonight as the Warriors host the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. There is certainly no love lost between these two teams and everyone knows the backstory behind this rivalry between Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The rivalry will be rekindled tonight, and we believe this is the opportune time for the Thunder to pull off the upset victory.
The Warriors have no looked like the same dominant team since Steph Curry has been out of the lineup with an injury. The team has somewhat come back down to earth and have looked the most vulnerable they have in the past two years. There appears to be dissention in the ranks and both Kevin Durant and Draymond Green got into a highly publicized altercation and it seems like those frustrations have started to spill out onto the court. Klay Thompson also hasn't been his normal sharp-shooting self, going just 5 of 27 from deep in recent losses at Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Their three-game losing streak is something that we have not been used to seeing from this team, but given how they have played, we're not completely surprised and if they play like that tonight against a team like the Thunder, it will likely lead to yet another loss.
Oklahoma City is back to full strength with Russell Westbrook returning from an absence. The Thunder lost Westbrook's first game back in the rotation, which again, was somewhat expected after a long layoff, but we believe Westbrook will be in much better form tonight. Of these two teams, the Thunder are the ones who are playing more like a well-oiled machine and should be primed to upset the Warriors tonight on their home court. This should be an entertaining game, but we just don't trust the Warriors offense at the moment, even at home. The fact that Golden State is just a slight favorite at home speaks volumes on how the oddsmakers believe this game will go. They couldn't realistically list the Warriors as home underdogs, but this is the closest thing to it without making it glaringly obvious which side they believe is the correct one. We'll follow suit and back the Thunder to pick up the upset victory tonight.
