There is one NBA pick tonight.
Minnesota Timberwolves -3 spread against Brooklyn Nets for 3% of the bankroll.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have certainly hit rough times. They come into this matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on a 5-game losing streak and have dropped 7 of their last 9. That being said, there is light at the end of the tunnel for this team. The Jimmy Butler saga is over, with him being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and leaving with him should be any distractions for this team. Now that the Wolves are finally able to move on, and back at home, that should allow them to take the steps necessary to end their recent skid.
The Brooklyn Nets have been playing well as of late, however, they are bit banged up at the moment. Caris LeVert is dealing with a knee injury which forced him to exit last game early and Jarett Allen is also dealing with some kind of illness, which puts his status as questionable tonight. Even if both players do suit up and play, we don't expect that they will be at 100%. Allen's illness is especially concerning since Brooklyn has already been week on the interior and if Allen isn't protecting the rim, or at full strength, Karl-Anthony Towns should have a field day down low in this contest.
This is a statement game for the Wolves and one that they need extremely badly. They can ill-afford to continue struggling as they have, and we expect this to be the game where it all comes together for them. With their home crowd rallying them, they should stop the bleeding, at least for one night and come away with the win and cover.
