There is one NBA pick tonight.
Indiana Pacers -2.5 spread against Philadelphia 76ers for 3% of the bankroll.
This is a matchup where we feel the Under holds a lot of value. The Indiana Pacers currently play at the slowest pace in the league and (to be honest) are one of the most 'boring' teams to watch from a fan standpoint. In a league where offense is starting to take center stage, the Pacers are the polar opposite. Their offense still remains inconsistent, and they still rely on their grind-it-out defense to pick up victories. While that style of play certainly gets the job done in the win column, it is not the most fun to watch.
The Philadelphia 76ers on the other hand, came into this season with a lot of hype after making the playoff last season. Up to this point however, they haven't quite lived up to their billing. They have seemed out of sorts in the early going and have yet to pick up a victory on the road. Brett Brown has been playing with various rotations this season and hasn't quite yet figured out which ones work best for his players. That has led to some inconsistencies on both sides of the ball and something that we expect the Pacers' defense to exploit. Indiana has been holding their opponents to just 102 points per game over their last 6 games and wouldn't be surprised if that was the case again tonight.
While Indiana isn't a team that has a lot of big-name talent like the 76ers do, they are a team that gets the most out of the players that they do have and match up extremely well with Philadelphia, which is a big reason why they won 2 of the 3 games when these two teams met a season ago. It likely won't be a fun game to watch, but at home tonight we expect the Pacers to hand the 76ers another road loss as their defense grinds them to a victory.
