There is one pick tonight.

Take Boston Red Sox (+132) on the ML against New York Yankees risking 3% to win 3.96%.
(Porcello and Tanaka must start for wager to have action.)

The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees square off tonight in Game 2 of their three-game set from Yankee Stadium.

We believed there was value with the Red Sox yesterday as +200 underdogs, and while they did not pull off the victory, ultimately losing 3-2, it was a close game as we expected, showing that there was indeed value on the road team. Although they are not as heavy an underdog tonight, we do believe that the Red Sox are still exhibiting quite a bit of value in what should be another closely contested matchup. The pitching matchup last night favored the Yankees, but we believe those roles switch tonight as it should be the Sox who hold the advantage on the mound as Rick Porcello pitches opposite Masahiro Tanaka.

Porcello has been spectacular to start the season, with an overall record of 5-0 with a 2.14 ERA and WHIP of 0.82 in 7 starts this season. While those numbers are certainly impressive, he has been even more impressive away from home this season, sporting a perfect 3-0 record in which his ERA dips to 1.85 over 4 starts. Masahiro Tanaka on the other hand hasn't been quite as sharp. He is 4-2 on the season, but his ERA is 4.61 through 7 starts. He has also struggled in Yankees Stadium this season, going just 1-2 with a 5.00 ERA and WHIP of 1.167 over his three appearances. We expect the Red Sox to be able to generate some offense off Tanaka tonight.

This is an intriguing rivalry and the fans were treated to an exciting game of cat-and-mouse last night. The Yankees ultimately took advantages of a mistake made by the Red Sox last night and that happened to be the difference in the ballgame. Tonight, we believe it will be the Red Sox turn to bounce back with a solid effort and even the series against their hated rivals.
