There is one NBA pick tonight.

Take Memphis Grizzlies +8 spread against Milwaukee Bucks for 3% of the bankroll.

The Grizzlies have lost 17 games in a row and their stock is at an all-time low! This is the time to temporarily jump on and 'buy' before 'selling' again. Because while this is a team that is lottery-bound and wants to finish with one of the worst records in the conference, they do not want this already-embarrassing losing streak to go on much longer! They are no doubt motivated to snap this skid and give their passionate fans something to cheer about. Yes, this is a rebuilding year for what has been an injury-depleted squad but that doesn't mean they have no pride and want to be blown out game after game. With their losing streak at 17 games and counting and this being one of the few home games remaining, they are eager to save face and record a rare 'W' in front of their home fans.

The Bucks are a playoff-bound team and fighting to improve their position. They currently sit in the 8th spot in the East and certainly have reasons to give it their all as well. We believe they'll most likely find a way to win but this matchup may not be as easy as it seems on paper. To see the worst team in the West might make some players believe they can give less than 100% and cruise to a victory anyway and while that may be true, covering a spread this big requires an all-out effort. Milwaukee is basically being asked to win this game by double-digits on the road and we think that's a tough ask. It wouldn't be unnatural for players to start looking ahead to the next game if the Bucks take a comfortable lead into half-time.

Memphis' biggest problem in recent weeks has been its depleted back-court. Injuries have hit all their primary ball-handlers and that leaves them short at the point-guard position. They lost Mike Conley early in the season but that helped Tyreke Evans take control and have arguably the best season of his career but then he went out too and they also lost the veteran Mario Chalmers to injury. Andrew Harrison then took charge of running the point before he too got banged up. That has prompted young players like Kobi Simmons and Xavier Rathan-Mayes to get playing time at the NBA level and while the two struggled at first, they are starting to show signs of finding form. Their first few games was always going to be tough against what is elite competition given their lack of experience. But now that they've had a good number of games under their belt, they might just have enough between them to put up serviceable efforts.

Keep in mind the Grizzlies don't need those two young guards to do anything special to remain competitive in this contest as they're likely to ride veterans like Marc Gasol and JaMychal Green. They also have Dillon Brooks who's shooting the ball well and has finally found his rhythm offensively. Ben McLemore has also gotten better as the season gone on and has finally started to contribute after coming over from the Kings in the off-season. All in all this is a team that while among the weakest in the conference is starting to find its way with this unit and should put up an improved effort, especially as they seek to end this ugly skid. We believe they'll give it everything they have to snap this streak and even if they fall short, the 8 points are extremely precious and may come into play. The Bucks are just 6-8 on the season after two days of rest and yet are now being asked to not only win this game and go 7-8 in this situation but to do so easily and by a big margin! Look for the motivated Grizzlies to put up a fight in this one.
