There is one pick tonight.

Take Chicago White Sox (+113) on the ML against Minnesota Twins risking 3% to win 3.39%.
(Lopez and Lynn must start for wager to have action.)

The Chicago White Sox are a team that public has stayed away from this season, and rightfully so. They are just 26-51 on the season, however, that does not mean that they should be avoided in each and every matchup. This is a team that does win games in the right matchup, and this is one of those matchups that we believe they will have an advantage.

Reynaldo Lopes may just be 2-5 on the season for the Sox, but he is an extremely underrated pitcher, who is, unfortunately, staffed on a bad team. That being said, prior to his last outing, he did post three quality starts in a row. He has already had success against Minnesota this month, where he shut down the Twins' bats, holding them to just a single hit over 7 scoreless frames. After getting knocked around in his last start by Cleveland, we expect Lopez will have a much better showing tonight.

Lance Lynn has been sensational recently, going 4-1 with a 1.73 ERA in his last 6 starts. As good as Lynn has been, he has also been somewhat fortunate during that stretch. He has been having issues with his control and walked 5 batters in his most recent outing. He has extremely high pitch counts which has resulted in him failing to complete 7 innings in any of his starts this season. The White Sox have had success against him this season, gathering 8 hits and two runs back on May 5th.

Lynn has been pitching above his head for some time now ad this would be the ideal, and most unsuspecting outing for him to struggle. The White Sox bats have been alive as of late, scoring an average of 7 runs per game over their last 3. Even if Lynn is able to keep the White sox offense in check, his failure to last deep into game should allow Chicago a chance to do some damage against the Twins suspect bullpen. We expect Chicago to grab the win in the series opener tonight.
