There is one pick today.

Take Seattle Mariners (+144) on the ML against Colorado Rockies risking 3% to win 4.32%.
(Leake and Anderson must start for wager to have action.)

The All-Star break can't come soon enough for the Seattle Mariners, who own the fourth-best record in the major leagues but have dropped seven of their last 10 games. The Mariners opened their three-game interleague series against the host Colorado Rockies with back-to-back losses and look to avoid a sweep this contest.

In this matchup there are a lot of things that appear to be in Colorado's favor. They have won the first two games of the series and now send Tyler Anderson to the mound in this contest, who has been nothing short of spectacular recently, allowing just a single run over his last three starts. Pitching opposite of him will be Seattle's Mike Leake, who has had an impressive season, but has struggled a bit recently allowing 8 earned runs over his last 8 innings of work. The simple perception is that given the way these two pitchers have performed recently, it would be easy to think that Colorado will have the advantage on the mound, however, we are not sure that will be the case.

Colorado has relied heavily on the arm of Anderson recently and has not given him much run support over his last few outings. That could come back to bite them in this series finale. Although he has only faced Seattle once in his career, it wasn't a pleasant showing, giving up 6 earned runs and 11 hits in just 5 innings of work last season. The Colorado bullpen has also been vulnerable this season and if the Mariners can keep this game close and get into the bullpen, we believe they will have the advantage in the later stages of this game.

Seattle cannot afford to continue to drop games with the Houston Astros steadily surging ahead and creating separation. We expect they will do all they can to avoid being swept by Colorado and will find a way to come away with the victory in this contest.
