There is one pick tonight.
Take Oakland Athletics (+132) on the ML against San Francisco Giants risking 3% to win 3.96%.
(Jackson and Bumgarner must start for wager to have action.)
The Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants open a series tonight from AT&T Park.
The Athletics will be sending right-hander Edwin Jackson to the hill tonight. Jackson has been a pleasant surprise for the A’s through three starts so far this season, having allowed two earned runs or less in all three of his starts in 2018, going 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. Opposing hitters are batting just .191 against the veteran righty and he’s walked just four batters all season, with all coming in his last start against the Cleveland Indians.
The Giants will counter with Giants left-handed ace Madison Bumgarner. Bumgarner, who spent most of the season on the disabled list with a fractured pinkie on his throwing hand, comes in with a 2-3 overall record to go along with a 3.09 ERA in seven starts this year and is coming off a win in his last outing. The Giants’ left surrendered four earned runs on seven hits to the Cardinals but managed to do enough to help the Giants hold on in a 13-8 victory.
The Oakland A's looked all but dead in the water in terms of the postseason this year, but a 19-5 run has thrown them right in the mix for the Wildcard. They are 28-20 on the road this season and come into this one having won 18 of their last 23 games, which includes taking 3 of 4 from the Houston Astros in their most recent series. This is a team that is playing their best baseball of the year and should be a tough out for a Giants' team that struggles offensively. The value is with the visitors in Game 1 tonight.
