There is one pick today.

Take Atlanta Braves (-105) on the ML against Milwaukee Brewers risking 3.15% to win 3%
(Fried and Chacin must start for wager to have action.)

This should be an entertaining battle between two of the top teams in the National League. The Milwaukee Brewers are the first team in the league to reach 50 wins this season, and the Braves will hope to match that record as a win tonight will give them 50 as well.

Atlanta is expected to send left-handed rookie Max Fried to the mound tonight. Fried has fared well in his second stint at the major league level, going 1-2 with a very respectable 2.55 ERA in six appearances and two starts this year. He has shown flashes of brilliance on the mound as well as he comes in striking out a career-best 32.9 percent of the batters he’s faced in 2018. He has also been holding on the mound as left-handed hitters are batting just .190 off him and has mitigated the damage against righties too, limiting them to just a .640 OPS

Jhoulys Chacin will take the mound for the Brewers in this matchup and while has had his moments on the mound in Milwaukee this season, he has also allowed four earned runs or more in three of his last seven outings. His K:BB ratio is also way down this season and is his worst output since 2014, when he went 1-7 with a 5.40 ERA as a member of the Colorado Rockies.

The Braves have been seeing the ball well recently as over the last seven days, Atlanta rank eighth in the MLB in runs scored with 37 over their past six games, while slashing .261/.311/.419 at the plate as a team during that span. If Chacin is not sharp in this contest, the red-Hot Braves bats should be able to do damage against him tonight. The Brewers are prime for the picking tonight off a 3-game series sweep of the Twins, while Atlanta will be motivated to get back into the win column after dropping two straight to the Yankees. The value is with the road team tonight.
