There is one pick today.
Take TCU -1 spread against Oklahoma State for 3% of the bankroll.
The TCU Horned Frogs have had a rough go of things as of late. After starting the season off undefeated and ranked as high as #10 in the country, they have fallen on hard times in Big 12 play. Despite their inability to gain a foothold and come away with victories in conference play, they have not played poorly. All of TCU's losses have been by five points or less and one was by just a single point. They have also had their high points, coming away with upset win over highly ranked West Virginia two matchups ago. This is still a team that has a very dangerous offense and after laying an absolute dud in their most recent performance against Vanderbilt, we believe the Horned Frogs will be primed for a bounce back performance tonight.
Like their counterparts, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have struggled mightily in conference play this season. Aside from their upset win at home over Oklahoma, the Cowboys have lost three of their last 4 games. They are also coming off an extremely difficult loss as they fell behind by one point against Arkansas with 16.2 seconds left on Daniel Gafford’s tip-in of an Anton Beard runner. But the Cowboys had two chances from just three feet away in the last 11 seconds but couldn’t finish the game. That has been the story of the Cowboys season, unable to close out games and we expect them to suffer a similar fate tonight against one of the country's best offensive units.
The Horned Frogs have a very daunting schedule ahead of them with games against Texas Tech and Kansas on deck. On paper, this is a winnable game for TCU and one that they likely need with two powerhouse opponents on deck. This should be a closely contested matchup, however, the offense of TCU will prove to be too much for the Cowboys to hang with. At a near pick'em, we believe the value is with the more desperate Horned Frogs.
