There is one pick today.

Take TCU -6 spread (buy the half point) against Kansas State for 3% of the bankroll.

As the regular season comes to an end, each and every matchup proves to be important as it allows some of the bubble teams a last chance to sway the selection committee come Selection Sunday. The TCU Horned Frogs are one of those bubble teams that have been playing well down the stretch, winning four of their last five games and have another chance in front of them tonight to plead their case to the committee against a high-caliber opponent.

This is a revenge game for the Horned Frogs, who fell 73-68 in Kansas back on January 20th. The Wildcats currently hold a one-game lead over TCU in the standings and a win tonight for the Horned Frogs would not only even them up in the standings but would also serve as a manner of revenge for the team.

As good as Kansas State has played this season, they are a much different team on the road, as the Wildcats struggle defensively, allowing 76 points on 46.9 percent shooting. The Horned Frogs, meanwhile have absolutely been dominating teams on their home court this season, outscoring teams by an average of 13.2 points. This is also senior night for TCU, a squad that has six seniors, including one of the top Big 12 players in Brodziansky. There is no question that the crowd is going to be fired up in this contest and that should feed into the motivation of the players.

TCU should also have a significant advantage on the glass in this contest as they are among the nation’s elite on the offensive glass, ranking 23rd in offensive rebounding percentage at 35.0 percent. Meanwhile, Kansas State ranks 326th in the nation at corralling defensive rebounds with a defensive rebounding percentage of 67.2 percent. TCU also currently leads the nation in assists at over 19 per game. Their ability to space the floor on this Kansas State defense will likely be key for them to create open looks.

This should be an entertaining contest; however, the Horned Frogs are one of the best free throw shooting teams in the conference and we believe it will be their efficiency at the charity stripe that leads to the win and cover down the stretch.
