There is one pick today.

Take St Bonaventure +3 spread (buy the half point) against Rhode Island for 3% of the bankroll.

The Rhode Island Rams come into this matchup with a ton of momentum. They are currently atop the A-10 Conference and carry with them the nation's longest winning streak at 16-games. This team is finally starting to get national exposure and deservedly so. That being said, all of the hype and media attention surrounding this team has gained the public's attention, and we believe that may be their downfall in this contest.

As impressive as Rhode Island's run has been, their level of competition has been questionable. This matchup tonight against a quality St. Bonaventure team will statistically be their toughest matchup of the season, statistically speaking. St. Bonaventure has been a tough out on their home floor this season, with their lone loss coming at the hands of a very good TCU team. Tonight, they will also be playing for their (potential) tournament life as they are squarely on the bubble at the moment. Halting the nation’s longest winning streak will certainly open the eyes of the selection committee.

This is also a revenge game for the Bonnies tonight as they suffered a setback in Rhode Island, 87-73 back on January 13th. We expect a much different result tonight. Rhode Island's best player, E.C. Matthews, injured his knee diving for a loose ball in their game against Richmond. Matthews left the game early in the first quarter and did not return. The team noted that Matthews did not receive an MRI, despite inflammation in his knee. He is expected to suit up tonight but will clearly be less than 100%. That could be the opening that the Bonnies need to pull off the upset.

St. Bonaventure scored 73 points on this tough Rhode Island defense on the road and wouldn't be surprised if they topped that effort tonight in front of what should be a raucous crowd. This game will likely be close throughout, but we expect St. Bonnie to come up with the critical plays at the end to pull off the outright upset. Even if they fall short, they should fight right til the very end and keep this game within a single possession, in which the points could prove to be valuable.
