There is one college football pick this afternoon. Please note that kickoff is slated for 3:00pm EST!
Oregon -1 spread against Michigan State for 3% of the bankroll.
Both of these teams come into this bowl matchup off disappointing seasons, for much different reasons. The Oregon Ducks actually started the season off well, going 5-1 in their first 6-games, however injuries piled up midway through the year and ended the season going just 3-3 over their final 6 games. For the Spartans, lack of offense was their downfall this season and it was especially stagnant to end the season, with Mark Dantonio's team managing just 26 total points over their final 3-games. Both teams will unquestionable want to end their season on a high-note, but we believe the Ducks are better equipped to do just that.
Oregon has quite a bit to look forward to next season as dynamic QB Justin Herbert has decided to return for his senior season in Eugene. This is a huge momentum boost for the Ducks who will undoubtably have CFP aspirations heading into next season. This is a chance for Herbert to once again showcase his talents on the big stage and put everyone in the Pac-12 on notice ahead of next season.
While the Spartan defense will likely have some success in this contest, we simply can't trust their ability to move the ball on offense. The Ducks should provide enough resistance defensively to allow Herbert to make plays with his arm and come away with the closely contested victory. This should be an entertaining game, but the Ducks offense is the deciding factor in this one as they come away with the victory.
