There is one NBA pick on Saturday.
Sacramento Kings +5.5 spread against Indiana Pacers for 3% of the bankroll.
The Pacers have become a legitimate threat in the Eastern Conference this season, despite losing Victor Oladipo to injury. A big reason for their success this season has been due to the locked-down style of defense as they make every team earn the points that they score. While that style of play has worked for them, it also has come at a cost on the offensive side of the ball.
Indiana is not an explosive offense. They do not have the playmakers on their roster to go score-for-score with a majority of the teams in the league, which means that they typically play in closer than expected contests. The Sacramento Kings on the other hand are loaded with offensive talent, however, it has been their struggles on the defensive side of the ball which has really hampered their progress this season.
They are certainly rebuilding; however, they have a lot of talented players on their roster. They also have the detriment of playing in a loaded and talented Western Conference, where there are many other teams that are head and shoulders above them, but this is an inter-conference matchup and their style of West Coast play, could be exactly what is needed to break through the stout Indiana defense.
Both teams are coming off back-to-backs and playing their third game in four nights, so we expect a little bit of sloppiness and tired legs on both sides. That being said, we do believe fatigue will favor the more offensive minded Kings as if the Pacers get sloppy with their defense, it should allow for some easy buckets for their opponents. Both teams have a legitimate shot at coming away with the victory, which means the points could prove valuable at the end.
