There is one pick tonight.

Take St. Louis Cardinals (+138) on the ML against LA Dodgers risking 3% to win 4.14%.
(Flaherty and Beuhler must start for wager to have action)

The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to watch their playoff hopes slipping away, and continue to struggle, despite being in these must-win situations. The oddsmakers continue to be high on this LA team, and continue to list them as heavy favorites, despite their struggles to put together a solid showing. They have a ton of potential both in their rotation as well as at the plate, but their sheer lack of cohesiveness is obvious at the moment.

Meanwhile, the St. Louis Cardinals continue to thrive and are consistently being listed as underdogs, despite all their recent success. One would think that the oddsmakers would adjust the odds, however, at the moment it appears that they are simply being stubborn and continue to undervalue St Louis, while keep the Dodgers in such high regards. It's another mistake that we will (hopefully) capitalize on again tonight.

We believe the pitching matchup in this contest is fairly even as Jack Flaherty squares off against Walker Buehler. Both pitchers have been sharp as of late and haven't given up many runs. If that is the case again tonight, we have to trust that the St. Louis offense will have the advantage. They have scored 4 or more runs in 12 of their last 13 games. Their bats are red-hot at the moment and even if Buehler shuts them down early, once the game goes into the bullpen, we expect the Cardinals offense to make some late noise. St. Louis also gets the added bonus of getting Matt Adams back into the lineup tonight after a trade with Washington. Adams adds another heavy bat into an already potent Cardinals lineup.

Until the Dodgers start playing consistent baseball, they should not be listed as this big a favorite and until the Cardinals start showing signs of slowing down, the value is certainly on them as very capable underdogs.
