There is one pick tonight.
Take Toronto Blue Jays (+149) on the ML against Boston Red Sox risking 3% to win 4.47%.
(Borucki and Porcello must start for wager to have action)
The Boston Red Sox have been moving full-speed towards the postseason and have made no signs of slowing down. Sine their 4-game sweep over their closest divisional rivals, the New York Yankees, they have blown open their lead in the division and seem almost like a shoe in for a postseason berth. They come in having won the first two games of their series with Toronto and 10 of their last 11. When they are playing well, they are an incredibly tough team to beat, however, if there was a letdown spot to be had, we believe this would be the situation.
Having won the first two games of the series, the Red Sox have already sewn up the series win and may come into this contest a little bit unmotivated. If that is the case, they already have a tough task ahead of them facing Toronto's Ryan Borukci, who has only surrendered 2 earned run in his last 20 innings of work.
The Red Sox will send Rick Porcello to the mound, who seems to have recreated some of his 2016 Cy Young winning magic, however, we have seen at times that Porcello is prone to give up a lot of hits and that could be his downfall tonight against what should be an extremely motivated Toronto team.
It is always tough to go against a team as explosive as the Red Sox, however, we believe the value is right to back Toronto in this contest, especially with them not wanting to get swept in from of their home crowd. If they can use the situation to their advantage tonight, they may be able to catch the Red Sox sleepwalking through this contest and get one over on the division leaders. The value is with Toronto in this one.
