There is one pick tonight.

Take Boston Red Sox (-105) on the ML against Toronto Blue Jays risking 3.15% to win 3%.
(Porcello and Happ must start for wager to have action.)

The Boston Red Sox have struggled in their last two games, first being no-hit by the Oakland Athletics and then following that performance up by being best again by the A's, 4-1. It was an unconventional series for the Sox, who up until that point had been one of the hottest teams in the league, ranking second in offense as well as run differential. It is the Sox first two-game losing streak of the season and with a day off to reflect on their recent performance, we expect them to come out extra motivated tonight in hopes of ending their skid.

They will have a good chance to do so as they send their most consistent pitcher this season to the mound in Rick Porcello. Porcello has been fantastic to start the season, going 4-0 with an impressive 1.40 ERA. On the road this season, he has been even better, posting a 0.79 ERA over 2 starts. Over his last two appearances, he's faced extremely tough batting orders in the likes of the Yankees and Angels and managed to hold them both scoreless, giving up just a combined 8 hits between the two clubs. He'll once again face a potent Blue Jays lineup but are confident that he will once again be able to keep their power-bats at bay.

J.A Happ will take the mound for Toronto, and despite having a 3-1 overall record, Happ has not been nearly as sharp as his counterpart. Through 4 starts this season he owns a 4.50 ERA and that number gets even worse at the Rogers Centre where he owns a season ERA of 5.62 over two starts. He's been a homerun machine this season, serving up at least 1 long-ball in each of his starts this season. Against a Red Sox offense that has to be chomping at the bit for some offense, we wouldn't be surprised to see that trend continue tonight.

Despite their lengthy winning streak, the Red Sox have been undervalued for much of the season by the oddsmakers; we don't believe this matchup is much different. These are solid odds to lay with a team that has the offensive explosiveness that the Sox have shown as well as their most consistent pitcher on the mound. Boston is 13-5 in games played at the Rogers Centre over the last three seasons and we expect them to get win number 14 tonight.
