There is one pick tonight. Please note that first pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm EST.
Take Toronto Blue Jays (+147) on the ML against New York Yankees risking 3% to win 4.41%.
(Sanchez and Sabathia must start for wager to have action.)
The New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays will start a four-game series on Thursday night at Yankee Stadium. CC Sabathia will get the start for New York while the Jays will send Aaron Sanchez to the hill. The Yankees are one of the toughest teams to figure out this season, simply due to the fact that they have been inconsistent on the offensive end. At times they have shown their impressiveness at the plate, scoring 10+ runs, and seemingly follow a performance like that up by being blanked on the scoreboard. Their pitching has not been good enough thus far this season to make up for their shortcomings on days when their offense goes cold.
Toronto has been one of the surprise teams this season and come into this series having won 7 of their last 8 games, including 4 straight. They are getting consistent balance both at the plate and on the mound and that makes this matchup that much more interesting. Aaron Sanchez is off to a solid start to the year and comes in with a 1-1 record and 3.66 ERA.
Sabathia meanwhile is a pitcher that is well past his prime and is certainly starting to show his age. He has already spent time on the DL this season and has become increasingly more hittable each season. This matchup tonight will be the first time that he has seen the mound since April 6th, and at his age, a bit of rust is almost expected in the early portion of the game. The Blue Jays come into this matchup with quite a bit of momentum and could make it a tough night on the veteran. These two teams are currently trending in opposite directions and at these odds, the Blue Jays are offering quite a lucrative return on investment.
