There is one pick today.

Take Minnesota Twins (+142) on the ML against New York Yankees risking 3% to win 4.26%.
(Santana and Garcia must start for wager to have action.)

It's a crucial series tonight in the Bronx as the Minnesota Twins travel to Yankee Stadium to open a series with the New York Yankees. With the end of the season drawing near, this could be a preview of the upcoming AL Wild Card game with the Yankees trailing the Red Sox by 3 games in the division but hold a 4-game lead over the Twins in the Wild Card standings.

Ervin Santana will get the start for the Twins on Monday night and he has been phenomenal this season, especially on the road. He comes into this contest with a 9-2 record and an impressive 2.74 ERA in 14 road starts this season. He hasn’t lost a game on the road since early June. This will be Santana's first start against the Yankees this season, but has some success against them last year. In his last 12.3 innings against New York, he's given up just 3 earned runs and could be in line for a strong showing tonight.

The Yankees will turn to Jaime Garcia who will get the start tonight in Game 1. Garcia has had a frustrating 2017 season as the Yankees are the third team that he has played for this year. Garcia still hasn’t won a game at Yankee Stadium since joining the Yankees and hasn’t collected a win since he was a member of the team he will be pitching against tonight.

Both teams have been playing well as of late, but we believe the pitching edge goes to the Twins in this contest. The Minnesota offense also exploded for 13 runs yesterday against the Toronto Blue Jays and we wouldn't be surprised if that momentum carried over into tonight's contest. This is a big series for both teams, however, given how well the Twins have played on the road this season, especially in the role of underdogs, we believe they'll ride the arm of Santana and find just enough offense to come away with the victory and give a solid return to their backers.
