There is one pick tonight.
Take Colorado Rockies (+132) on the ML against Arizona Diamondbacks risking 3% to win 3.96%.
(Marquez and Corbin must start for wager to have action).
The Colorado Rockies have managed to take two straight in this series after their 4-2-win last night in Game 2 against the Diamondbacks. Colorado has been playing excellent baseball over the last couple of weeks, winning 8 out of their last 10 games. They have been a strong road team this season, but what has made them even more dangerous as of late is the fact that their offense is finally starting to play up to their talent level as they have scored at least 5 runs in 5 of their last 6 games and we believe their offense should continue to produce runs tonight as they face a struggling Patrick Corbin.
Corbin is coming off his worst start of the season where he gave up 8 runs in just 4.1 innings against the San Diego Padres in his last start. It's not necessarily alarming that Corbin produced a bad outing, it is that it came against the worst offensive team in the league. Corbin has also struggled against the Rockies in his career. Colorado has scored 10 runs in 15 innings and are batting a collective .295 against him this season and Corbin owns a very weak lifetime 5.06 ERA against Colorado. With his confidence shaken from his last start, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him struggle against the Rockies once again tonight.
German Marquez will take the mound for the Rockies tonight for the 26th time and for a rookie, he has had an impressive season. Marquez allowed four runs (two earned) in four innings to the Dodgers in his previous performance. He pitched well in three of his five starts against the Diamondbacks this season, allowing a total of 13 runs in 29.2 innings of work. He has been able to limit the damage by the Diamondbacks offense and having seen this lineup numerous times this season already, we are confident that he will be able to navigate through the order and keep their offense in check once again.
After winning the first two games of this series, the Rockies should not be this big of an underdog. they have shown that they can beat the Diamondbacks in Chase Field and we believe they will do it once again tonight. The value is on the underdog in this contest.
