There is one pick tonight. SPS has also released 5 picks (early) for tomorrow's NCAAF matchups. Please scroll down to view all selections!

Take Boston College +6 spread (buy the half point) against Florida State for 3% of the bankroll.

It was supposed to be a season where Florida State challenged for a potential playoff berth, however an injury to starting QB Deondre Francois in the first game of the season has completely derailed any hope of that and sent the Seminoles into a proverbial downward spiral. It has been a disastrous 2017 campaign for FSU as they come into this contest, just 2-4 overall and 0-5-1 against the spread this season.

There is no question that the confidence of this once highly regarded program is at an all-time low. While Florida State hasn't necessarily played bad with true freshman James Blackman under center, the Seminoles have struggled when it has come to finishing games. Close losses to NC State, Miami and Louisville have undoubtedly deflated this once proud program and one must question whether the players have simply started going through the motions on the field, especially considering now it is unlikely that they will even make a bowl game this season. FSU needs to win 4 of their last 5 games in order to go Bowling this season and with games at both Clemson and Florida remaining on their schedule, it is unlikely that is going to happen. Confidence or lack thereof could have a major impact on Florida State in this contest tonight.

Speaking of confidence; that should not be an issue for Boston College who has quite a bit of momentum coming into this contest. The Eagles have won two straight, on the road no less and have done so against two quality opponents in the Louisville Cardinals and Virginia Cavaliers. While strong defense has always been a staple of BC football over the past decade, it has been their offense that has stolen the show over the last couple of week. The Eagles have put up back-to-back 40+ point performances and have looked extremely good doing it. Their confidence is likely at an all-time and couldn't come at a better time hosting a highly storied (and incredibly vulnerable) Florida State team on a weeknight in a nationally televised event.

Boston College needs just 2 wins to become Bowl eligible this season and given the way that they have been playing recently and given their remaining schedule, it is an absolute possibility for this team. Steve Addazzio has done a great job the last couple of weeks motivating his players and riding a 2-game win streak, we expect them to come out motivated to keep their momentum rolling. FSU undoubtedly has the more talented players; however, Boston College has the bigger heart. Florida State will be lucky to leave Chestnut Hill with a victory, let alone a victory by more than 6 points. Boston College is more than capable of winning this game outright and we believe they will do just that.
