There is one pick tonight.

Take Creighton +1 spread against Baylor for 3% of the bankroll.

The championship match of the Hall of Fame Classic features an interesting matchup between the Creighton Blue Jays as they take on the Baylor Bears. These two teams play a stark contrast in styles as Baylor is more known for their defense, while Creighton is a team that likes to get out and run. Whichever team can dictate the pace of the game will likely win this matchup and we believe that favors the Blue Jays.

Baylor is a perfect 4-0 on the season by just 1-0 ATS. Their victory over Wisconsin last night was their first lined game of the season, which shows that they have yet to be truly tested. After dominating much of the game against the Badgers, the Baylor offense took their foot off the gas and nearly coughed up what should have been an insurmountable lead. That type of lackadaisical play will not cut it against an offense as potent as the Blue Jays

The Creighton Blue jays are also perfect on the season, averaging 98.2 points on 53.8 percent shooting from the field. They are shooting a blistering 41.7% from beyond the arc and are a very good rebounding team, grabbing 41.7 boards per contest. What has been impressive about this Blue Jays team thus far is that they have somewhat flown under the radar. Not much was expected from this team this season, yet they are starting to garner quite a bit of attention. Thus far, in the early part of the season, they have already knocked off two top 25 teams and Baylor could be their third. They have faced a tough schedule and have somehow persevered. They will be the more battle tested team in this contest and we believe that will be the difference in this contest.

The Bears have been impressive on the defensive side of the basketball to start the season, holding their opponents to 59.5 points per game. That being said, other than their matchup with Wisconsin last night, the Bears haven't faced the type of offense that they will see in this matchup tonight. They may have perfected the running of the zone defense; however, the Creighton shooters have proven that they can hit their shots from anywhere on the court. While the zone may frustrate McDermott's team in the early going, we believe it will only be a matter of time before the Creighton players find a way to penetrate it and create separation on the scoreboard. This will likely be a close game; however, the Creighton offense will prove to be too much for the Baylor defense tonight as the Blue Jays knock off their third ranked team of the season and take home the championship tonight.
