There is one pick tonight.

#1: Take Xavier +4 spread (buy the half point) against Wisconsin for 3% of the bankroll.

Wisconsin and Xavier battled in one of the more memorable games of the 2016 NCAA Tournament when the teams met in the Round of 32 a season ago. Wisconsin rallied from a nine-point second-half deficit in the epic contest and managed to come from behind and stun Xavier when Bronson Koenig drained the winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to put the Badgers in the Sweet 16. They now face each other for the first time since that encounter and we expect the Musketeers to have a bit of revenge in mind tonight.

Xavier appears to be already be in mid-season form and have been extremely efficient on the offensive side of the ball. They have scored 101 points in each of their first two contests, outscoring their opposition by an average of 39 points per game. Senior guard Trevon Bluiett is off to a strong start to the season, averaging 25.5 points and 7 rebounds per contest. Bluiett is complemented by sophomore forward Tyrique Jones who has also started the season strong himself, averaging 15 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks this season.

Wisconsin is typically known as one of the more experienced and hard-nosed teams in the country, however this season things are quite a bit different. The Badgers only return one starter from last season's Sweet 16 team and lost over 50% of their scoring a rebounding from a season ago. Wisconsin is a team that recruits extremely well and it's likely that they will come together this season, however, in the early part of the year, we expect that they will struggle against an experienced and deep Xavier team.

While Wisconsin returns only 1 starter this season, the Musketeers have most of their team back from last year. Xavier has also had a fair amount of success against Big 10 teams, having won 9 of their last 11 outright. Both teams have shown that they can score, and Wisconsin will have a slight advantage with this contest being played on their home court, however, we believe the Musketeers are the more talented team in this contest. Having already played the best that Wisconsin had a season ago, we expect them to be up to the task tonight and with revenge on their minds, we expect them to come away with a big win on the road tonight. Even if they fall short, they have the offense to keep things close in which the points are likely to come into play.
