There is one MLB pick tonight.

Take the UNDER 9 total runs in NY Mets vs. Arizona Diamondbacks for 3% of the bankroll.

The Mets and Dbacks tangle again tonight in the second game of this National League series. The opener was an exciting one last night and had a dramatic finish! What looked like a low-scoring game locked at 1-1 heading into the 8th inning suddenly turned into a blowout when Arizona scored 6 runs in that frame! Then after New York replied with 2 runs of their own in the top of the 9th inning, the final score was suddenly a 7-3 game that went just 'Over' the set Vegas total! We don't believe there'll be as many big hits in this game.

Hansel Robles came on as a reliever in the 8th inning and gave up 5 runs via two dingers in yesterday's matchup! One was 3-run shot courtesy of Yasmany Tomas who had been struggling immensely in May while the other was a rare home run by Jeff Mathis which scored two! Robles had been solid heading into that contest and it was a rare off night for him. We don't expect him and the rest of Terry Collins' bullpen to be as generous tonight, especially considering the Metropolitans have now dropped 5 straight games and can ill-afford to give up more. They'll be focused on the task at hand and will look to limit mistakes. There will still be a good amount of runs at Chase Field but we do expect both pitching staff to limit big mistakes and the opportunity for opposing hitters to 'go yard' with men on base.

Zach Greinke is without a doubt one of the best pitchers in the Majors and is proving it again this season! He sports an impressive 2.79 ERA despite pitching in a hitter-friendly ballpark and flirted with a no-hitter in his last outing! We don't expect him to be as flawless tonight but do see him limiting damage and leaving runners stranded even when they do reach base. The former Dodger is a consistent and driven individual. He always expects the best from himself and that attitude rubs off on his teammates on days that he takes the mound. The defense behind him normally does an excellent job while hitters know that with him toeing the rubber, they don't need as much of a scoring effort as they normally do.

From a personnel point-of-view, there are also several reasons to believe this should be a lower-scoring game. AJ Pollock is often the lead-off man for the D-backs and one of the best outfielders in the league! He has that rare combination of speed and power! Not only that, he is a threat to swipe a bag every time he finds himself on-base. Unfortunately for Arizona, unlike yesterday, he'll be unavailable tonight. Pollock has been put on the D/L list due to a groin strain. Early reports indicate that he might in fact need more than 10 days to recover from this injury given his history with similar previous issues! David Peralta is another impressive offensive outfielder for the Diamondbacks but he, too is not in the starting lineup tonight since they are going up against a lefty in Tommy Milone. He may make an appearance as a pinch-hitter at some point but his effectiveness should be limited in that case.
