There is one pick today.

Take South Carolina +3 spread against Florida for 3% of the bankroll.

Not many people expected the South Carolina Gamecocks to be playing for a spot in the Final 4 this season, but what they have done to get here has been downright impressive. Many thought their victory over the Duke Blue Devils was simply one of those games where everything comes together for a team, however they proved that their victory over the Blue Devils was no coincidence as the completely dominated a very good and experienced Baylor team in the Sweet 16. South Carolina now looks like the team that they did at the start of the season before Sindarius Thornwell went out with an injury. This team is dangerous, owns a top tiered defense and right now, at the moment, their offense is firing on all cylinders.

The Florida Gators are somewhat fortunate themselves to be in this matchup as they barely got past the surging Wisconsin Badgers, coming away with a buzzer beating 3-pointer as time expired to win by 1. The Gators needed to rally in the second half of that contest and all the drama and emotions coming off that contest is likely to have a lingering effect in this one. Florida plays solid, fundamental basketball however they don't have that true go-to player like the Gamecocks do. Sindarius Thornwell has been the difference maker for South Carolina in this tournament and the way he commands attention on the floor, has allowed other players like PJ Dozier and Duane Notice to get open looks. They have seemingly found their offense and given how solid they have been on the defensive end, that makes them an incredibly dangerous team.

This is a battle of SEC foes who seemingly know each other very well. The teams split the seasonal meetings with each coming away with a win on their home floor. When conference foes meet in a setting such as this, a look should be given at the coaches calling the plays on the sidelines. There is no question that Mike White has done a great job with this Gators' team, however in comparison to South Carolina's Frank Martin, Martin certainly has the experience edge. In a game like this, the coaches play a significant role in the game plan and we believe that will give the South Carolina players the edge on the court. We fully expect the Gamecocks to win this game and move on to their first Final 4 in program history, however we do expect that this will be a close, defensive battle from start to finish in which the points could prove to be valuable.
