There is one pick tonight.
Take Florida -1 spread against Wisconsin for 3% of the bankroll.
There has been a ton of talk and hype surrounding the Wisconsin Badgers dating all the way back to the start of the tournament. Many had believed that Wisconsin had been disrespected by the selection committee and were under seeded at the start of this tournament and all this team has done since has been proving the committee wrong. They capped off their impressive run in the Round of 32 by knocking off the defending champion Villanova Wildcats. It was an impressive showing by the underrated Badgers and we don't believe anyone underrates this team now. They are incredibly dangerous, however, now that all eyeballs appear to be looking in Wisconsin's direction, we believe this is the ideal time to take advantage.
The Florida Gators are likely the most unassuming team left in the tournament, however it would be a mistake to overlook them. Their win in the second round might have been overlooked by many, but it was incredible what this group was able to do defensively against Virginia beating the Cavaliers by a final of 65-39. Florida might not have elite star power on their roster, but this is an unselfish group that can win in several ways having shown well on both ends of the court throughout the year. Florida brings a well-balanced attack ranking 68th in the nation in scoring average and 37th in total defense.
This should be one of the most entertaining games of the night for fans who like a solid, fundamentally sound defensive battle. At the end of the day, we believe Florida's ability on the offensive side of the ball will be the difference. Wisconsin has been vulnerable from the three-point line all season long and the Gators shoot a proficient 36.1% from deep this season. They are also the better team at the charity stripe and with these two teams being so very similar, this game could be decided at the free throw line. This will be a close contest, but we believe Florida's defense holds up late in the game while their offense does just enough to punch their tickets to the Elite 8.
