There is one pick tonight.

Take Oregon +1 spread against Michigan for 3% of the bankroll.

There is no question that the Michigan Wolverines have had this sort of 'magic' surrounding them since their plane nearly skidded off the runway at the onset of the Big 10 conference tournament and since that time, they have yet to lose a game. Michigan has been labeled as a 'team of destiny' this tournament and given how they have played, it would be hard to deny such a claim. That being said, we believe their magical run will come to an end tonight when they face the Oregon Ducks.

Many have stated that Oregon is fortunate to be in this position having trailed most of the second half in their round of 32 matchup with Rhode Island. The Ducks needed a 15-6 run to end the game in order to advance, however it’s important to note that the Rams were one of the best defensive teams that were left in the tournament. The fact that Oregon was trailing during the contest was not surprising, however their ability to rally and make clutch shots when needed to overcome and persevere is what was most impressive. It was a confidence building performance for the Ducks and we expect that confidence to carry over into this contest.

While many believe Oregon was fortunate to advance, the same could be said for the Wolverines. Michigan was down 9 points with under 16 minutes remaining in the game against Louisville and used a 17-6 run to even up the score. It was an impressive showing by the Wolverines to manage to come away with a win, however, we don't believe they will be as fortunate in this matchup tonight. Oregon plays a very similar style of basketball on the defensive end as Louisville, but are much more explosive and proficient on the offensive end. Meanwhile, Rhode Island was by far a better defensive team than Michigan and we expect the Ducks offense to be able to find their offense much easier to navigate in this contest.

Michigan has struggled at defending the three-point line, allowing teams to shoot 37.5% from beyond the arc ranking them below 300th in the country and the Ducks are incredibly dangerous from long range. Dillon Brooks has proven on more than one occasion this season that he has ice in his veins when pulling up from deep in the critical moments in games. He has proven to be the unquestioned leader of this team and we believe his play will be the deciding factor in the Ducks punching their tickets to the Elite 8.
