There is one pick today.
Take USC +6 spread against Baylor for 3% of the bankroll.
The USC Trojans are no strangers to pulling off miraculous comebacks. So far this season they have had 13 double-digit comeback victories which is the most of any Division I school this season. They rallied from 15 points down in their First Four matchup with Providence and followed that performance up with a 10-point comeback to upset the sixth seeded SMU Mustangs. The ability this team has to rally themselves and rise up when they fall behind on the scoreboard shows a lot of heart. This team has shown that they are never out of a ball game and that is a dangerous attribute in a tournament such as this.
USC managed to beat a tremendous defensive SMU team and we believe they will give Baylor all they can handle in this one. The Trojans shot 48% from the field against the Mustangs which shows just how explosive their offense can be. Baylor has not been overly impressive down the stretch, having lost 4 of their last 8 games, including another loss to the Kansas State Wildcats in the Big 12 tournaments. Baylor is a team that has been strong defensively, but do not score a lot of points, averaging only 71.5 points over their last ten games.
Baylor may be listed as the favorites in this matchup, however we believe these two teams are much more even than the oddsmakers are letting on. The Trojans' are riding a ton of momentum and in the second half of their last two games, have the appearance of a team on a mission. IF they can get off to a fast start and not have to rally from behind, this is a team that could make an incredibly deep run in the tournament and has legitimate Elite 8 if not Final 4 potential. This should be an entertaining contest with either team capable of pulling off the victory and because of that, the points have a tremendous amount of value.
