There is one pick today.

Take Northwestern +4 spread against Purdue for 3% of the bankroll.

The Northwestern Wildcats are a team that has flown somewhat under the radar this season. They have quietly put together an impressive resume and many experts believe this is the year that the Wildcats will finally make the NCAA Tournament. While many believe the Cats have done enough, there is still reason to speculate that they might need to do more. If there was any question as to their tournament status, a victory over the Big 10 regular season champions would certainly put those questions to rest.

The Purdue Boilermakers come into this contest having already locked up a share of the Big 10 regular season title. The Boilermakers are one of the more storied programs in the Big 10 and hold more championships than any other team in the conference. That being said, it has been quite a dry spell for the school in recent history as this is Purdue's first Big 10 championship since 2010 and just their second in the last 20 years! There is no question that this year's team is special, however they could also be in for a bit of a letdown after such an emotional season and have very little to play for at the moment having already locked up the top seed in the upcoming tournament.

Northwestern still has quite a bit to play for as they could potentially find themselves with a Top 4 seed in the tournament and thus getting the coveted double-bye in the tournament. They will need some help for that to happen, however for them to do their part would be to hand Purdue a loss in this contest. It's Senior Day in Northwestern and this will also be the final game in this gym before it gets a 100-million-dollar renovation. This is a big-time game for Northwestern and even if they fall short of the outright upset, they should be motivated enough to at least keep this game close where the points will come into play.
