There is one pick today.

Take Cleveland Indians (-117) on the ML against Baltimore Orioles risking 3.51% to win 3%.
(Clevinger and Miley must start for wager to have action)

The Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles conclude their 4-game set tonight from Camden Yards.

The Cleveland Indians have been on quite a tear recently and come into this matchup winners in 7 of their last 8 contests. Their lone loss during that stretch came in Game 2, where the Baltimore Orioles handed the Tribe a narrow 6-5 loss, but Cleveland bounced back strong in Game 3 as they managed to get back on track with a 5-1 victory. With momentum back on their side, we believe it will be Cleveland who will once again have the advantage in this matchup.

Mike Clevenger who was called up from Triple-A for Saturday’s doubleheader in Minnesota, will get the start tonight. He started Game 2 of that DH and pitched brilliantly, allowing just one run and two hits in four innings of work. He threw 44 of 71 pitches for strikes in a game that was broken up by a lengthy delay, which denied him a chance at the win. After struggling to start the season, Clevinger has come on strong and possesses an impressive 10.2 K/9 mark. He was called back up from the Minors to make this start tonight and will look to build on his impressive performance last Saturday.

Wade Miley will get the start for the Orioles and it has been a real struggle for the southpaw as of late. He may be 1-1 over his last 3 games, but the veteran has been giving up a ton of runs on the mound. He has given up a total of 16 runs (3 homers) in his last 10.7 innings of work which has seen his ERA balloon up to a very unflattering 12.65 with a 2.624 WHIP over his last 3 games. Miley has fortunately been bailed out by his offense as of late, but given the way he has pitched and the mistakes that he has made on the mound, his offense can't continuously make up for his shortcomings.

The Orioles allowed at least five runs in 18 consecutive games which is the longest run in AL history and just three short of the dubious major league record of 20 set by the 1924 Philadelphia Phillies. Cleveland has been swinging a hot bat as of late and have been averaging 7.75 runs over their last 8 contests. Even if Clevinger isn't as sharp on the mound tonight, the Indians have the explosiveness in their lineup that should be able to capitalize on the struggles of Miley and help bail their starting pitcher out. The Cleveland offense should prove to be too much for O's tonight and the odds show great value on a team that is playing extremely well at the moment.
