There is one pick today.

Take Milwaukee Brewers (-133) on the ML against Pittsburgh Pirates risking 3.99% to win 3%.
(Williams and Guerra must start for wager to have action)

The Milwaukee Brewers have hit somewhat of a roadblock thus far in their series with the Pittsburgh Pirates after falling for the 2nd consecutive game in this series, 7-3 last night. Prior to their series with the Pirates, Milwaukee had been on a roll having won 5 of their previous 6 contests. After struggling in back-to-back games, we believe tonight is the night that the Brew Crew rebounds with a solid performance.

Milwaukee should have the advantage at the plate tonight going up against Pirates’ starter, Trevor Williams. Williams has been one of the more hittable pitchers in the league this season and comes into this contest 3-3 with a disappointing 5.16 ERA through 14 appearances (8 starts). Williams' ERA was a high as 6.41 recently but has strung together some mediocre performances to at least lower his numbers a bit. Having been somewhat silenced the last two nights, we expect the Milwaukee bats to be anxious to face Williams tonight and should be able capitalize on some of his mistakes on the mound.

Meanwhile, The Brewers will send Junior Guerra to the mound tonight. Guerra has been one of the better pitchers in Milwaukee's rotation this season as he has been extremely consistent throughout the year having not given up more than 3 earned runs in any of his outings thus far this season. He also has had a lot of success against the Pirates in his career as he is 1-0 with a very respectable 1.50 ERA and WHIP of 1.000 in 18 career innings. Guerra should have no issue outdueling his counterpart in this contest.

Milwaukee has struggled thus far this series, but this is the matchup where we believe they hold the advantage. Going down into a 0-3 hole is not a place where the Brewers want to be if they have any hopes of salvaging this series. We expected them to come into this contest motivated and should create enough offense off of Williams to come away with the victory.
