There is one pick today.

Take Toronto Blue Jays (-113) on the ML against Houston Astros risking 3.39% to win 3%
(Morton and Sanchez must start for the wager to have action)

The Toronto Blue Jays managed to grab the victory over the Houston Astros in the series opener last night and believe that momentum will carry over into this contest tonight

Both starting pitchers will be making their return tonight after spending extensive time on the DL, however, we believe the Blue Jays will have the advantage on the mound with their ace, Aaron Sanchez. Sanchez went on the DL back in May while dealing with blister issues, however, prior to his stint, was actually pitching extremely well, despite his overall record not showing it. He was 0-1 in 5 starts, however, he sported a respectable 3.33 ERA in the process. With his issue seemingly cleared, we believe he will be ready to jump right back into mid-season form and should have a quality outing especially considering his has solid overall numbers against Houston in his career. In 2 career starts, Sanchez is a perfect 2-0 with an impressive 1.80 ERA and WHIP of 0.933.

Meanwhile, Charlie Morton will be making his first start for the Astros since May 24th and up until this point, he hasn't pitched very well compared to his overall record. He may be 5-3 on the season through 10 starts, however, his ERA is a borderline 4.06 with a WHIP of 1.370. On the road, he has been even worst, going just 1-2 in 3 road starts while amassing an ERA of 6.89 and WHIP of 1.723. To say he has struggled, would be an understatement. With this being his first game back off the DL, in just his 4th appearance away from home on the season, we wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle on the mound, especially in the early going.

The Blue Jays bats have been relatively quiet this season given the amount of power they possess in their lineup, but that could change tonight if Morton continues his struggles on the mound in this hitter-friendly park. The Blue Jays have owned the Astros at the Rogers Center in recent history having gone 6-1 in their last 7 meetings. We wouldn't be surprised to see those trends continue tonight. These are decent odds to lay with what has been a dominating team at home with the much better pitcher on the mound.
