Sunday:

Take LA Rams +7 spread (buy half a point) against Arizona Cardinals for 3% of the bankroll.

Neither team will be making the playoffs making this essentially a glorified exhibition in the final week of the regular season. The difference is that one badly needs a 'W' to close out the season to give its fans some hope for next year after relocation to Los Angeles while the other does not. The Rams have lost 6 in a row and will be motivated to snap that ugly streak. And with coach Fisher fired, his interm replacement wants to impress to have a chance to keep the job or at least be kept as part of the coaching staff in 2017.

This should be a fairly closely contested divisional matchup and yet the hosts are being spotted a full touchdown! We'll gladly take the points as we believe all the value is with the underdogs here. Arizona has been bitterly inconsistent this year and to suddenly expect them to win this comfortably is a big ask. Especially when nearly every player except David Johnson has been a big disappointment and can't wait for the season to end. Sitting with just a 6-8 record the year after making the conference championships shows what a poor season its been for the desert team and to suddenly expect them to revert back to last year's team is unrealistic!

Not only do the coaching staff have a lot to prove for the Rams, so the players. This is a squad that has struggled offensively all season and is being written off by many. Jared Goff, for example was the #1 pick in last year's draft but has yet to win a game since taking over the QB job midway through the season. Meanwhile Todd Gurley has been a shadow of his former self and also needs to end the season with a strong performance to remind everyone just how capable he is! Both are talented players as are the likes of Tavon Austin and we believe this group simply hasn't been utilized properly.

On what is their final game of the season, and in front of their fans, they might just surprise a few people. Don't let their poor overall record fool you, the LA Rams had one of the best defenses in NFL this year! They regularly limited opponents to 20 or less points and also forced key turnovers. Aaron Donald and company frequently won the battle in the trenches and sacked the opposing quarterback, something Carson Palmer has had to endure for much of the season. On the other side, Bruce Arians has admitted that special teamer Justin Bethel's transition to cornerback has been a 'failure in progress' and with the team still missing Tyronn Mathieu and certain other key players, this is a unit that has struggled. Take the 7 points as LA finds a way to keep this close or potentially even win it outright.
