There is one pick tonight.

Take Baylor +2 spread against Oklahoma State for 3% of the bankroll.

The oddsmakers have set an interesting line for this matchup, however we don't believe it's necessarily unwarranted given the recent results of these teams. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are one of the hottest teams in the Big 12. They currently hold the longest winning streak in the conference at 5 straight games, including an impressive road win over the #7 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers as 10.5 point underdogs in their last matchup. There is no question the public perception of the Cowboys has certainly started to shift, both for the betting public as well as the oddsmakers.

The Baylor Bears on the other hand come into this game having lost 2 straight games against Kansas and Kansas State respectively. The loss to Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse should not reflect poorly on Baylor as very few teams have been able to knock the perennial Big 12 kings off at home. The loss to Kansas State however was a bit perplexing however and has put the Bears in a very interesting position. At the moment, Baylor trails Kansas for the Big 12 lead by just 1 game and still has a home game against the Jayhawks this season. That being said, Baylor cannot afford to suffer a third straight loss, especially against a team as red-hot as the Cowboys.

Despite their two-game skid, Baylor is still ranked 6th in the nation and is 20-3 overall on the season. They are by no means a poor team, however their recent results may have somewhat skewed the opinions on this team at the moment. Let's not forget that they currently lead the conference and are one of the best defensive teams in the country, holding their opponents to just 61.4 points per game which ranks 7th in the nation. Baylor has the depth and size inside to make things difficult for the Cowboys. Coming into this game with 2 straight losses, we expect Baylor to get back to playing solid fundamental basketball which will include attacking the paint, cleaning up on the glass and playing solid defense on the other side. They have more length and talent than the Cowboys and while OSU has been on fire lately, we expect Baylor to put an end to their win streak tonight.

The oddsmakers almost had no choice but to make the Cowboys the favorites in this particular situation and we believe that will come back to bite them in the end. Oklahoma State has been playing well, however their win over West Virginia was just their first win over a ranked team this season. The home court advantage will no doubt help the Cowboys in this contest, however we expect the Baylor players to rise up at the crucial moments in the game and make the plays necessary to leave Stillwater with the victory. Even though they are likely not going to be needed, we will take the free points with the road team as added insurance.
