There is one pick tonight.

Take Tulsa +13 spread against Oklahoma State for 3% of the bankroll.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are coming off their biggest win of the season over a solid Florida State squad. While that victory has certainly grabbed the attention of the betting public, we believe the Cowboys will be in for somewhat of a letdown in this contest. Let's not forget that this is the same Cowboys team who had two losses against ranked opponents already this season and had lost 7 straight (to ranked teams) prior to their victory over the Seminoles. While their confidence is surely at its all-time high this season, they can't afford to come into this contest over confident, especially not against the likes of a very good and very underrated Tulsa squad.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes are a team that has flown somewhat under the radar this season, and while few are talking about they, they are a quality squad. They come into this contest winners in 5 of their last 6 contests, with their lone losses coming on the road to a very good Illinois State team. The Golden Hurricanes have been a force offensively this season and have scored 77 points or more in 7 of their 11 games this season. They will not be intimidated going up against the like of Oklahoma State, in fact we believe they will relish the opportunity to square off against a big-name opponent. This is the last matchup in Tulsa's non-conference slate, so you can bet they would like nothing more than to enter conference play with a big-time win and momentum behind them.

After being outrebounded by opponents in the early part of the season, Frank Haith has really preached the importance of solid fundamentals in the game and his teachings have been paying off in spades. The Golden Hurricane have outrebounded their last 5 opponents and will likely have the edge in this contest as well. The Cowboys have been getting quality play for nearly everyone on the court, however, their lack of a true go-to scorer could hurt them in this contest. If this game is tight, as we expect that it will be, it will likely come down to which teams makes the clutch shots at the end of the game. Oklahoma is a solid free throw shooting team, however, given how balanced Tulsa is on both sides of the ball, we believe they will be able to keep this game competitive. Oklahoma may get the nod on their home court; however, this game should be much more competitive than the line suggests, and we believe the points have quite a bit of value tonight.
