There is one pick tonight.

Take South Dakota State +5 spread (buy the half point) against Colorado for 3% of the bankroll.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits may be a mid-major program and one that is not well known by the casual fan, however this is an underrated team that makes all Power 5 teams cringe when they see them on their schedule. The Jackrabbits come into this contest have won six of their last eight contests, including already hold notable road/neutral site wins over Power Five foes Iowa (80-72) and Ole Miss (99-97 in overtime). They will not be intimidated ahead of this contest in Boulder, in fact they catch Colorado in (likely) an ideal situation, having lost 3 of their last 4 games, including most recently a double-digit home loss to San Diego. Colorado has been outscored by an average of 3.2 points in their last five games. On the season, their wins have only come by an average of 4.1 points which could make covering this spread tonight all the more difficult.

We believe this is simply a bad matchup for the style of game that Colorado likes to play. South Dakota State is a team that shoots the ball extremely well and are very efficient with their shot selections. They have the ability to score from anywhere on the court and are especially dangerous from beyond the arc. They rank 22nd in the nation in three-pointers attempted (27.5) while the Buffaloes are 196th in three-pointers allowed (23.4) this season. Colorado does not have a strong perimeter defense and we expect that is going to hurt them in this contest.

The Jackrabbits will also have the best player on the court tonight in Mike Daum. Daum is a 6"9' forward who is incredibly talented and appears to already be NBA-caliber ready. Daum has averaged 20 points per game for the 9-4 Jackrabbits, topping the 20-point mark seven times. He has posted four double-doubles early this season and is shooting 44 percent from the field. He presents a unique challenge to Colorado down low, which should allow their perimeter shooters to find open looks. If SD can make their shots, they will have a great chance to not only keep this game close, but should win this one outright.
