There is one pick tonight.
Take San Diego +8.5 spread against Colorado for 3% of the bankroll.
The San Diego Toreros will face a tough test tonight as they travel to Boulder to battle the Colorado Buffaloes. While it will certainly be a step up in competition for the Toreros, we believe they will be up to the challenge. San Diego is ranked 13th in the nation in three-pointers allowed, and are holding opponents to a nation low 22.4% from beyond the arc.
Isaiah Pineiro is the leading scorer for San Diego and is averaging 15.7 points per game. Pineiro also leads the Toreros in rebounding with 6.3 per contest. Isaiah Wright is an additional scoring threat for USD and is averaging 13 points per game and a team high 5.7 assists per contest. Olin Carter III rounds out the double figure scorers and is averaging 12.6 points per game.
This has potential to be a mistake-prone game for the offense of Colorado. Since last season, Colorado ranks 279th in the NCAA in ball protection, turning the basketball over in 18.3% of their possessions, meanwhile, the opportunistic defense of San Diego has forced the 56th-most turnovers in the NCAA, causing their opponents to turn the ball over on 17% of their possessions.
There are a lot of reasons to like San Diego in this contest as they have historically been a very solid team on the road. They are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 on the road, 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 on the road against opponents with winning home records. They have also been extremely strong in non-conference games going 7-2 ATS in their last 9. This should be a back and forth contest and we feel that San Diego are live dogs in this matchup. If they continue to defend as they have been, Colorado will be fortunate to leave their home court with a victory. In what should be a closely contested matchup, we feel the points hold a lot of value tonight.
