There is one pick today.

Take Washington Nationals (+130) on the ML against Houston Astros risking 3% to win 3.90%.
(Strasburg and Keuchel must start for wager to have action)

This is a marquee matchup between not only two of the top teams in the league, but two of the top pitchers as well as Washington's Stephen Strasburg pitches opposite Houston's Dallas Keuchel.

Washington managed to take Game 1 of this series, 4-3. Houston rallied in Game 2 and managed to come away with the 6-1 victory. This is an important rubber match between divisional leaders and will no doubt be a classic pitcher’s duel as both have been pitching well this season. That being said, we believe the edge will have to go to Strasburg. Strasburg has been lights out in his most recent starts, posting an impressive 1.80 ERA over his last 15 innings. Meanwhile, Dallas Keuchel has been coming back into form since his return to the DL, but was roughed up a couple of starts ago in Chicago where he gave up 8 earned runs on 10 hits with 3 walks. Keuchel has also struggled against Washington in his career as he is -1 with a 5.73 ERA and WHIP of 2.091 over 2 career starts.

Both offense have the ability to plate runs and both will be without marquee names as Bryce Harper is still dealing with a knee injury, while Houston will still be without the services of Carlos Correa. With this being the case, we truly believe the starting pitchers will be the deciding factor in this contest. Strasburg has been fantastic on the road this season going 7-2 with a 2.43 ERA over 66.7 innings of work. Washington is 8-3 when he has taken the mound on the highway. We expect a close, low scoring game in this contest and given Keuchel’s struggles against this lineup in the past, Washington should be able to put together the timely hits needed to pull off the series ending victory. They are live dogs in this contest which places all the value on the road team.
