There is one pick today.

Take Milwaukee Brewers (-112) on the ML against St. Louis Cardinals risking 3.36% to win 3%.
(Suter and Weaver must start for wager to have action)

After leading the National League Central for much of the season, the Milwaukee Brewers have finally given up the top spot to the Chicago Cubs and now find themselves 2.5 games out of a playoff spot which makes this an extremely important series for Milwaukee. The Brewers managed to come away with a close win last night in Game 1 but will need to continue to pile up wins if they want to have a shot a reclaiming the top spot in the division.

The Brewers should have an advantage on the mound tonight as Brent Suter takes on Luke Weaver. Suter will be making his 7th start of the season after spending much of the first half coming out of the bullpen. He has certainly been making the most of his opportunity in the rotation. Over his last 5 starts, he is 2-0 and has allowed 2 earned runs of les sin each of those appearances. Had he received even a little bit of run support in those contest, he could very easily have gone 4-0 thus far. Including his relief appearances, he comes into this matchup with a very respectable 2.40 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He's also coming off what could be considered his best start of the season, holding the Cubs scoreless over 7 innings to give his team their lone victory in the series.

While Suter has been pitching admirably, Weaver hasn't seen much action this season, making just 1 start in which he went 5 innings, giving up 4 earned runs against Arizona. Weaver has faced off against this Brewers lineup twice in his career and his team is winless in those starts where he has taken the mound. The Cardinals as a team are have also lost 4 straight to the Brewers and are just 1-5 in their last 6 contests on the road. Meanwhile the Brewers have been a strong play at home, going 11-4 in their last 15 at Miller Park. We expect Milwaukee's momentum to carry over from last night's victory as they come away with another much-needed victory in Game 2 tonight.
