There is one NBA pick tonight.

Take Milwaukee Bucks -6 spread (buy the half point) against Charlotte Hornets for 3% of the bankroll.

The Bucks are one of the few teams left in the association that still has a lot to play for this season. They did clinch a playoff spot in theier last game but could fall as low as the bottom 8th seed by the time the regular season wraps up on Wednesday! For that reason, look for them to put a bigger effort in these final two remaining games than most other franchises.

A team that won't be giving 100% is Steve Clifford's Charlotte Hornets. They fought admirably all season long including in their last game against the Celtics where they held a 4th quarter lead. However, a late game collapse saw them officially eliminated from the playoffs and left with nothing in the tank. All-Star PG Kemba Walker will sit this game out and is a huge miss for the team from North Carolina! He runs the offense for this club and is often their go-to-scorer in clutch situations and in the fourth quarter. Given that the heart and soul of their team will be missing, the Hornets are unlikely to make as many shots as they normally do.

The rest of the Charlotte starting lineup might be present on the court but it wouldn't surprise us if the coach staff limited their minutes. With nothing left to play for, it would in fact be in their best interest to lose the final two games of the season to improve their draft odds. The players do not wanna pick up a meaningless injury just before their holidays begin and with the disappointment of missing out on the post-season so fresh in their minds, we believe they won't be up for the challenge tonight. They are all undoubtedly demoralized and dejected to not make the playoffs and it will likely result in a lackadaisical performance! If they fall behind, we don't see them putting up as much fight to mount a rally as they normally do.

Milwaukee, on the other hand, has a chance to finish as high as the 5th seed or as low as the 8th seed in the Eastern conference playoffs and therefore still has a lot to play for. Not only that, this contest against demotivated Charlotte happens to be their final regular season home game! Look for them to give their home crowd something to cheer about by pulling away from the Hornets and winning this one in fairly easy fashion. This game will be close at certain stages but ultimately should see the hosts secure what will quite possibly be a double-digit win! Back them at this reasonable spread knowing that unless a backdoor cover occurs, they'll likely take care of the spread.
