There is one pick tonight.
Take Sacramento Kings +11 spread against Houston Rockets for 3% of the bankroll.
The Rockets have already clinched the 3rd seed in the Western conference and have little to play for the rest of the regular season. Mike D'Antoni will of course want his team to bounce back after a home loss to the Pistons but we don't think they'll head to Sacramento and completely blow out the hosts! They may create some separation at some point but ultimately this is a matchup that could end up closer than people anticipate and likely be won within single-digits.
James Harden and company have one thing in mind at this moment and that is to head to the playoffs healthy. Harden has an ailing wrist which has affected his shooting efficiency in recent games and it wouldn't surprise us if the coaching staff decided to limit his and other regular contributors. Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon are set to sit this one out and have been huge players for Houston this season! Their absence should make this game more competitive than it would have been otherwise.
The Kings want momentum going into next season, especially in terms of building a proper 'home-court' advantage in their new arena, the Golden 1 Center. With this being their second-to-last home game, look for a focused effort from Dave Joerger's squad. They will have no shortage of motivation to play well against a Rockets squad that has dominated this season. Sacramento might be one of the poorer teams in the NBA but they are still a group of professional players that have a lot of pride. The fact that they've already dropped 3 games to Houston earlier this season, and all by double-digits should have them embarrassed. In what is the fourth and final meeting between the two sides, look for a bigger effort from the hosts to at least save face and avoid a blowout. We expect them to put up a bigger fight in this contest which means they should cover the generous spread by staying within it.
