There is one pick today.
Take Brooklyn Nets +4 spread against Chicago Bulls for 3% of the bankroll.
The Chicago Bulls need wins right now to maintain their playoff position but they've been inconsistent all season long and it wouldn't surprise us if they disappointed their fanbase tonight. They've been rotating wins and losses and having won at Philadelphia, they might just fall short tonight. Prior to their matchup against the 76ers, they lost to the Knicks, another lowly team that they should have beaten. They might find a way to secure the 'W' tonight but even i f they do, we don't believe it'll come easily. This should be a tightly contested game and one that could go right down the wire. If that is the case, the 4 bonus points could well prove precious and come into play.
Dwyane Wade will be back in action tonight and that's why the line has moved from where it opened but after missing 11 games, we don't expect to see him at his best. He'll likely be rusty in what is his first game in some time and will also be on a minutes-restriction. Wade will likely play 15-20 minutes and should take a bit of time to regain his rhythm. We believe his presence on the court won't help Chicago as much in this contest as it likely will in their next few games.
Rajon Rondo had fallen out of favor with coach Fred Hoiberg earlier in the season but regained his trust after the All-Star break and quickly established himself as the starting point-guard! He's been playing well over the last month and is a definite upgrade over Jerian Grant, Cameron Payne or Michael Carter-Williams. Unfortunately for the Bulls, he's set to miss this game due to an injury and it'll likely be Grant that gets the starting nod. Grant is an improving young player but far from the fascilitator that Rondo is and is also not as good of a defensive player. He'll have a tough time guarding Jeremy Lin tonight which gives Brooklyn a matchup advantage at the PG position.
The Nets have been playing much better recently. They've finally learned each other's tendencies and have gelled well together. In what is their final home game of the season, we expect them to give the crowd something to cheer about. Brooklyn may have had a very poor season but they still need to show fans enough potential to sell season tickets for next year. Look for Kenny Atkinson to demand a lot from his squad tonight as they cause an upset. Even if they fall short of the outright win, they should be competitive and put up a real fight! Doing so will likely mean this game gets decided in the final possession or two, which could see them cover the spread even if they fail to win. Back the unfancied underdogs in this favorable situation knowing that the average bettor is all over Chicago Bulls today.
