There is one recommended wager tonight.
In addition, one pick has also been released for Saturday, with more likely to come later.
Sports Profit System went 41-26 in NFL to cash in 61% of its picks last season! There were some inevitable ups and downs last year as well and yet the final record proved that another lucrative season had been celebrated. Patience is all that it takes. This season will be no different for those that remain the course.
As far as NCAA college football is concerned, SPS has so far profited from each of the first 3 Saturdays to start the season! Thursday's loss on Georgia Tech was our first midweek wager.
Take USC +3 spread against Utah for 3% of the bankroll.
There is no question that the perception of both of these teams have been skewed through the first 3 weeks of the season. The Utah Utes are at home for tonight’s contest and are a perfect 3-0 on the season. Meanwhile, their opponents, the USC Trojans have struggled out of the gate and enter this contest with a less than flattering 1-2 record. While their overall records may be enough to skew the public perception, we aren't buying into it.
These two teams have taken very different paths in order to get to this point in the season and there is certainly no question that USC has played the much tougher competition. They have had to endure the likes of both Alabama and Stanford on the road this season and while they haven't looked good in either of those contests, the fact that they have played against two of the top teams in the country will actually help them in this contest.
Meanwhile, the Utah Utes have had the much easier road enroute to their 3-0 season, taking on the likes of Southern Utah and San Jose State. They do hold a victory over the BYU Cougars, however they could have (arguably) lost that contest very easily given the way that they played. The Trojans will certainly be a huge step up in competition for the Utes tonight and given the way that their offense has performed thus far this season, they could find themselves in a bit of trouble in front of their home crowd.
There is no question that this is not the start to the season that USC had envisioned and that being said, going 1-3 and 0-2 in conference play is not an option for the Trojans. We expect them to be extremely motivated for this contest and come out firing on all cylinders. The Utah defense has been legit this season, but having already faced the pressure defenses of both Alabama and Stanford, we expect the Trojans to have a little bit of breathing room in this contest as the Utah defense is not on the same level as either of those teams. We find it interesting that despite the performance and perception of these two teams, that the oddsmakers decided to open up the Utes as just 1.5 point favorites. We believe that speaks volumes on how they believe this game is going to play out.
Tonight’s contest is a make or break game for Southern Cal and with their backs up against the wall, we expect their talented offense to finally get on the same page as they put together a solid performance and walk out of Utah with a much needed victory. Even if the Trojans fall short of the outright victory, we expect this to be a grind-it-out, low scoring affair, with the points likely coming into play.
